I'm Dan. I run a workshop in Sittingbourne, Kent, where I fix cars, break cars, rebuild wrecked cars, and occasionally race them — then film the whole lot and stick it on YouTube.
I never planned to be a content creator. I'm a mechanic who happened to pick up a camera. But it turns out people like watching a bloke covered in oil try to fit a turbo at 2am. Go figure.
The channel started as “just showing what I do” and turned into something properly mental. Two things people keep coming back for: the repair jobs where the last garage got it wrong, and the Copart salvage rebuilds where I buy a written-off car and drag it back to life on camera.
Dans Automotive Services is the workshop, and the name my socials run under. Dans Automotive Media LTD is the company behind all of it — the channel, the collabs, the event work. Same bloke, same cars, just the paperwork behind it. The workshop is what keeps the content honest: everything you see on camera is a real job, not a script.

The Workshop Opens
Started in a single-bay unit with a trolley jack and a dream. No budget, no plan, just a stubborn belief that I could make it work.
First Camera, First Video
Filmed a job on a phone propped against a toolbox and stuck it online. People actually watched it. Something clicked.
Salvage Rebuilds Take Off
The salvage rebuild series hit different. Turns out people love watching a written-off car come back to life. Who knew?
Shmee150 Collab
Got a message from Tim (Shmee150) asking if I fancied collaborating. Pinched myself. Multiple times.
New Workshop, Bigger Dreams
Moved into a proper unit at Sittingbourne. More bays, more tools, more space for the ever-growing pile of project cars.
Still At It
Still a mechanic. Still filming. Still buying Copart cars I probably shouldn't. The channel keeps growing and the workshop keeps filling up.
